Prof. Dr. Hakan Özyuvacı was born in Istanbul on October 12, 1964. He completed his secondary education at Etiler High School between 1979 and 1982, then began his studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1982 and graduated in 1987.
He completed his doctoral studies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Istanbul University. His doctoral thesis focused on biomechanical and histological changes in bone following the placement of hydroxyapatite.
Continuing his professional career at Dental Forum Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Hakan Özyuvacı has been conducting clinical and professional work in the field of implantology since 2006.
He served as the Turkey representative of the European Association of Implantology (BDIZ-EDI), worked as a faculty member in the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Diseases and Surgery at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, and retired in 2016.
He also participated in educational programs at IFZI (Internationales Fortbildungszentrum für Zahnärztliche Implantologie GmbH) and continues to serve as a scientific advisor to the Clean Implant Foundation.
Prof. Dr. Özyuvacı has published articles on implantology in national and international journals and has delivered numerous lectures at scientific meetings and congresses.
